Mother's Day Fundraising Campaign

Donating to the Perinatal Network this Mother's Day is a special way to honor or memorialize significant women who have touched our lives. With your donation of $25 or more, we'll send a Mother's Day recognition card in honor of your special gift.  We'll also enter you into a drawing for a local spa package from Effleurage Day Spa worth $200.  With your tax-deductible contribution, we'll be able to continue to provide support to individuals, families and children from pregnancy onwards.

Mother's Day and Father's Day Plant Sale

The Perinatal Network is selling flowering plants in hanging baskets with delivery in time for Mother's Day, and patio tomato plants with delivery in time for Father's Day.  They make wonderful gifts for the special people in your life, or for yourself.  For more information and to order plants, call Pat at 732-4657.

Mohawk Valley Perinatal Network has a new program called Community Health Advocates. We can offer you advice, support and guidance through the confusing and sometimes overwhelming world of health insurance. Whether you have private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, managed care or no insurance, we can help you
- find affordable, low cost health insurance
- read a medical bill and insurance statement
- resolve a health insurance problem
- make doctor appointments and get prior authorization

Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait

The March of Dimes unveiled a new public education campaign to raise awareness about the important development that occurs during the last few weeks of pregnancy. The campaign, called “Healthy Babies Are Worth the Wait,” encourages women to allow labor to begin on its own if their pregnancy is healthy. It aims to dispel the myth that it’s safe to schedule a delivery before 39 weeks of pregnancy without a medical need.

Text4Baby

Mohawk Valley Perinatal Network, in conjunction with the Association of Perinatal Networks of New York, is part of a new national initiative to promote healthy pregnancies and birth outcomes.  Text4baby is a free mobile information service designed to promote healthy birth outcomes.  Text4baby is the largest national mobile health initiative to date, and is being launched by an unprecedented group of public and private partners, including the White House and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
